Playing whistle with half closed gruff for H\u00fcmmelchen school model<\/strong><\/p>\n

Our H\u00fcmmelchen school models can be equipped with different whistles. So you can play in other pitches or with other fingerings.<\/p>\n

The included soprano chanter of the school models can easily be exchanged for other chanters if the instrument is equipped with the wind capsule system (see below). <\/p>\n

The Chanter<\/strong> with semi-closed fingering<\/strong> is an alternative for those who already play bagpipes with the so-called ‘French’ fingering and do not want to get used to the baroque fingering. The second thumbhole is present, but the whistle cannot be blown over. <\/p>\n

The instrument is turned from Elsbeer wood and equipped with a wind capsule. It is tuned in C, has a range from b to c”. <\/p>\n<\/p>\n

This chanter is well suited to use with the textbook ‘Playing the bagpipes<\/a>‘ to learn how to play a French cornemuse or a shepherd’s pipe – even if the full range is not available. With the reduced volume it is easily possible to practice even in the evening hours without disturbing others! <\/p>\n<\/p>\n
