We have been receiving these practical valve flaps from the manufacturer in Stirling, Scotland, for many years.

The easy-to-mount and inexpensive valve is tied onto the spigot of the blowpipe of the Great Highland Bagpipe (or other bagpipes with a corresponding diameter of the blowpipe) with a thread winding and seals reliably. It requires a tenon diameter of approx. 18 mm.
