Description
TrueTone Bagpipe Seasoning This Scottish sealant comes from an experienced Scottish piper and is also particularly suitable for leather bags made from sheepskin or goatskin. It is processed warm and seals reliably. Due to its ability to bind moisture, it improves the functioning of the pipe even during prolonged play in humid conditions. Instructions: – All pipes, reeds and other accessories are first removed – The stocks are sealed with tight-fitting corks (see accessories). – The sealant is heated in a water bath or in the microwave until it becomes liquid (never boil it!). – After cooling, the sealant is then poured into the bag and distributed throughout the bellows and along the seams by vigorous rolling. – After solidification, excess seasoning must be drained. All sticks must be carefully cleaned before the pipe is reassembled. The content of this bottle (250 ml) should be sufficient for 2 sealings each.
