This is a very important accessory for Practice Chanter from Blackwood!

After playing, the top (the wind capsule) should be removed and dried, especially on the valuable instruments made of sensitive African Blackwood. If you don’t, you will quickly notice cracks as the wood swells from the large amounts of moisture.

The practice chanter reed can also be dried and then the reed protector is placed on the lower part of the chanter and secured with the clamping screw.
