Tone Enhancers stabilize and control the airflow from the Pipe Bag into the Drone Stocks. They filter moisture from the air and improve the start and stop behavior of the pipes!

At the beginning of 2009, Bob Shepherd again significantly improved the Tone Enhancers: thanks to new membrane filters made of polytetrafluoroethylene integrated into the system, they reliably prevent water, dust or salts from penetrating.

However, after a longer period of use, the permeability of the filter discs decreases and the desiccant no longer absorbs sufficient moisture.

So if unexplained problems with the drone reeds occur, then it is worth replacing the inner workings of the tone enhancers in any case.

The set on offer contains everything you need to retread the tone enhancers: New membranes, filter inserts and drying beads for the three enhancers in a pipe.

With this set you can easily convert the older enhancers to the new, improved system!
