All EzeePC Pipe Reeds are individually tested and tuned by qualified and experienced staff to achieve the high expectations of sound quality and stability. They are then already differentiated at the manufacturer according to the playing strengths light, medium or hard before they are released for sale.
Selecting and setting up a chanter reed is an art that takes some time to learn. But as with drone reeds, there are certain procedures that make this work easier and produce a good sounding bagpipe as a result.
