Piper’s Third Hand
This auxiliary tool is used when tuning the Great Highland Bagpipe drones.
Clamped on the chanter it replaces the right hand and closes three tone holes so that a low A sounds on the chanter. The drones can then be tuned to this tone with the now free right hand.
