WeePipe with Scottish fingering
‘Wee’ is the Scottish word for ‘small’ – and this little bagpipe is a quiet and quite easy to play, but still fully-fledged bagpipe.
The full-sounding, but only timbre bagpipe is played with the fingering of the Great Highland Bagpipe and has a drone.
Due to the low playing pressure and air consumption, the instrument can be learned quickly, especially for beginners. The short chanter in the key of C is perfect even for small hands of children.
The chanter can be removed and, together with the blowpipe, can also be played as a mouth-blown practice whistle.
