Irish Pipes: Uilleann Pipe Practice Set

This practice set is designed as an affordable entry-level or rugged travel instrument. The chanter – from the latest series of the manufacturer – is made of plum wood with boxwood decorations. Stocks and blowpipe are made of polypenco (polyacetal), a very suitable engineering plastic.

This material has also been used for the chanters of the Scottish Great Highland Bagpipes for over 20 years. In terms of sound, there is an astonishing closeness to instruments made of tropical wood.

The bellows is made of birch multiplex wood and two-layer leather.

Please note: We deliver the Practice Set with a high quality and durable Canmore (R) Pipe Bag. Subsequent sealing is therefore not necessary.
