RG Hardie Bagpipe Chanter from Polypenco in B-flat for Great Highland Bagpipe This outstanding chanter was also designed by Alastair Dunn, Gold Medalist and Pipe Sergeant of the 7-times World Champions “Field Marshal Montgomery Pipe Band”. This chanter for the Great Highland Bagpipe is tuned slightly lower and is therefore especially suitable for playing together with “normally” tuned instruments. Especially when playing together with brass instruments, the key of Bb fits perfectly. We recommend the “Orchestral” chanter reeds from RG Shepherd for this chanter. With the Chanter we deliver a Reed Protector and a Reed Box for free! The chanter can be ordered without soles or with a selection of different soles from artificial ivory to hand-engraved sterling silver soles (for the versions with engraved nickel or silver soles, please select the desired design from the selection box above: Celtic, Zoomorphic, Thistle or Victorian).
